Date #6
Being from Arizona we are always on the lookout for a great Mexican
restaurant, and more specifically great salsa. This adventure took us across
the Columbia River to the Washington shoreline and Who Song and Larry’s. In the
summer time this would be a great place to go because they have a beautiful patio
right on the river, but we went in the winter so we sat inside.

I was very excited to try the salsa; it was good but a bit too spicy for our taste. I found out later that Who Song and Larry’s is part of the restaurant group that includes our favorite restaurant Chevy’s. The salsa here is very different than Chevy’s salsa, which is our favorite.
Chuck had a medley of Mexican favorites in his entrée and I had a fish
taco, my usual. The food was good, but not good enough to travel the 50 mile
round trip, although when the sun comes out it may be a different story. We
frequent the restaurant next door, Joe’s Crab Shack, when the sun shines.
The search for the best Mexican restaurant in Oregon continues, but the
date was a success.
